Try it at least once. Closing down soon! Food 5/5 Absolute perfection for the Portuguese tart Extra crispy shell Right runny to solid consistency custard Right sweetness Served HOT Price 3/4 $2.75 is very steep for one Portuguese tart Every other bakery is: $1.25 for a regular egg tart $1.50 for a Portuguese tart

This is the go to place for egg tarts. It's been here forever, for 27 years. They had different variations of egg tarts, coconut, a few other flavors over the years. I've always gone to them for egg tarts over the years. It's sad to see them go, the owner is retiring so now everyone's going to get egg tarts 1 last time. The crust is flaky and perfect. The inside filling isn't overly sweet. They were open early in the morning and into the early evening, just after you got back from work. It's been a neighborhood staple and it will be missed. It was a small space but they made it work. You go in order and head out. No time to waste, gotta get these egg tarts home! Alexa play Time to say Goodbye, even though we don't want to.

While they are known for their variation of egg tarts, many people do stop by on their way to work for a pastry/bun and coffee.. . They are about to close, which is sad because they have been around for over 25yrs and is a Flushing staple. It's not easy to see any business close it's doors, but this this case, the owners are retiring, so happy retirement!! . They will be closing at the end of the month/end of mooncake festival, however, there could be chance they will open for a bit longer but it's certain they will close as per the owner...

They're closing up shop on Sept. 30 unfortunately. Support small business. Got a much-needed coffee today and enjoyed the sweet melon cake. Quick and friendly service as always.

Small bakery that has many options. We noticed however that people only ordered the egg pastry. That's what we were there for too. After a brief wait we were served a fresh , hot pastry. It was really good! Creamy and slightly sweet, the filling was warm and gooey. The crust was flaky and perfectly cooked. I would recommend this place. They had a sign that said they were closing soon. Go while you can

CASH ONLY! Came here just for the egg tarts. The crust is super flaky and has the perfect sweetness. Knocked off one star because I wish the egg tart was a little warmer. No indoor seating but there is a bar without stools.

Great small shop that has a lot of fresh baked goods! We tried a Hong Kong-style egg tart and a Portuguese-style egg tart. Both were really great and hit the spot. The HK-style definitely tastes more egg-y. The Portuguese style is really the same as one I've tried in Portugal itself- it's done really well, has that vanilla taste and less egg-y and more pudding-like. Have cash on you !!

I've had many egg tart. This one is impressive. This is the flaky one and not the cookie shell. The egg tart sweetness was perfect. Not too sweet and the shell is nice and flaky. The pineapple bun was also quite delightful. Most place make it soft by puttinga lot of butter in it but also overwhelmed. This one is soft and just right. Not too much butter just perfect. Portuguese tart ain't bad but it's not as creamy as I like. I've had better.

CASH ONLY This place was recommended to me for some of the best chinese egg tarts. I really liked the egg tarts but it depends on what your preference is. Everything is really fresh and they run out of tarts by early afternoon so get here late morning latest! PINEAPPLE BUN Probably the best one in the game which is why they sell out by early afternoon and limit to four per customer. Soooo fluffy and soft, with a delicate crumble on top. Personally like the crumble of fay da more but the freshness can't be beat here. EGG TARTS Texture is a bit runnier and very moist; if you like that you will like this! It's very warm as they make them fresh on premises and I've had a lot of basic egg tarts that are more eggy, flavor and texture wise but these are runnier and sweeter in a satisfying way. The egg custard itself is more reflective than your typical egg tart. The Portuguese version was creamier and had a nice broil/char on top.
